  APPOINTMENT DEPOSIT: There is a $30 deposit for all appointments that will be applied to the service price. We will eliminate this policy for established clients.

  APPOINTMENT TIMES: An appointment time is an estimated time of arrival. We willgive you a 1-2 hour window for arrival time. Being a mobile service, our schedule is subject to interruptions, traffic, weather, etc. If we feel we will be arriving before or after the agreed timespan, we will inform you via call or text.

  CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICY: Rarely, Pawsitively Groomed may need to cancel your appointment due to weather, illness, equipment failure. We will contact you in advance to reschedule.

Because we book on an hourly basis, cancellations can leave an empty block on the schedule that could have otherwise been used by another client.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment,
we ask that you CALL AT LEAST 48 HOURS before your missed appointment. Failure to do so WILL result in a $50 no show fee which is due on the day of your missed appointment. For any first time client who is a no show when we arrive at your scheduled appointment, Pawsitively Groomed will not schedule any future appointments.
  If client has more than one pet scheduled for the appointment and decides at the last moment not to get one of their pet groomed,client will be responsible for the full grooming price for that pet.

PRICING: Pricing varies for each pet and is determined by breed, size, condition of hair, desired haircut and the temperament of the pet.

  PAYMENT: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash and card. 

  VACCINATIONS: Pawsitively Groomed requires all puppies being serviced in our Mobile  Spa to be up to date on puppy vaccines. Adult/ senior dogs must be current on Rabies vaccine.

  FLEAS AND TICKS: Pawsitively Groomed is a FLEA AND TICK FREE SALON. Your pet MUST be free of fleas and current on a veterinarian approved flea prevention. If we do discover fleas or ticks during the grooming process, we will use a flea shampoo on your pet so that Salon sanitation and cleanliness can be maintained. In this case, you will be charged a $70 Salon sanitation fee that will be added to the grooming fee and is due at the time of service.

  MATTED PETS: Pets that have had their grooming needs neglected for a long time, might be matted to the skin and be very uncomfortable. Matted fur pulls and binds and does not allow for air circulation  to the skin causing hot spots, bacterial and fungal infections. Dematting is a painful and stressful process that Pawsitively Groomed refuses to do. We will do what is necessary for your pet's comfort and health: shave the matted fur very close to the skin and start over. When shaving a matted pet, the groomer has to work very closely to the skin which can cause irritation, nicks and cuts for which Pawsitively Groomed  will not be held liable. After the shave down you can get your pet on a regular grooming schedule and maintain the desired length and style.

  DANGEROUS OR  AGGRESSIVE ANIMALS - REFUSAL OF SERVICE: Pawsitively Groomed does not accept aggressive pets and has the right to refuse any services at any time. In the event that your pet becomes overly stressed or dangerous to groom, Pawsitively Groomed has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at any time before, during or after  grooming and the client will be charged a grooming fee. If the groomer is bitten we will report the bite as required by law and the pet owner will be liable for the bite and responsible for any medical bills, recovery costs and loss of income. Pawsitively Groomed will not force any procedure on your pet she/he is not comfortable with.

  SENIOR PETS: Some senior pets can be uneasy during the grooming session. As your pet gets older, he/she may not tolerate grooming as he/she used to. Senior pets have a greater chance of injury especially those with pre-existing health condition. For this reason, they will be groomed for health and comfort  and not for looks. Pawsitively Groomed will not be responsible for the injury, illness, or death of a senior or health compromised pet. 

  ACCIDENTS: Although accidents are very rare, there is a risk when dealing with animals. Grooming equipment is sharp, and although we use extreme caution in all situations, possible problems could occur including  cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails etc. In most cases this could happen when a pet is wiggling or moving around. 
Your pet's safety and comfort is our number one priority. In the event an accident does occur,  you will be notified of the accident. If Pawsitively Groomed feels it is serious and the owner is not home, Pawsitively Groomed will seek immediate veterinary care with your veterinarian on file or the closest veterinary clinic. All expenses of veterinary care will be covered by the pet's owner upon signing this contract unless the injury or illness is a direct result of negligence of Pawsitively Groomed salon staff.

  PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS: Occasionally grooming can expose or aggravate a condition that may not be known. This can occur during or after the grooming. Pawsitively Groomed will inform you of any condition that is discovered but will not be held responsible for any illness or injury other than gross negligence of Pawsitively Groomed salon staff. 

  KEY ON FILE SERVICE: Mobile pet grooming is a specialty convenience service. Pawsitively Groomed offers it's established clients 'Key on file' service for when you are not home for the grooming appointment. in this case, client provides a key, garage code or some other form access to the home. The pet must be in a crate, bathroom or laundry room. Pawsitively Groomed will not be held responsible for damages or theft to your home while we are on a service call to groom your pet.

  PHOTOGRAPHS: We have your permission to  use your pet's name and any and all pictures  taken before, during or after the grooming on any social media outlet or website for promotional, advertising or portfolio purposes. 

I have read this Service Contract and understand the content of this contract. I affirm that I am the rightful and legal owner of the pet(s) for which services are being rendered. I authorize this contract to be valid approval for today's and any future grooming services for my pet, permitting Pawsitively Groomed to accept telephone reservations for service without any additional signed contract or written authorization. I understand that pricing is subject to change. This agreement is valid for all pets I currently own or will own in the future. I have read and agree to the above.
